Just thought I'd post and say hello. I found this site by accident the other day looking for info on collecting locally for a reef tank. That being said. I'm looking to start up a cold water tank. Ideally I'd love to set up an oyster reef styled tank. It's been about 20 years since I've had a salt water tank (fish only). So anyone who had tanks back then and has one today will probably laugh when I say how impressed I am with how the technology has changed since 1990.

I'm also a member of NANFA and looking to start up a local fresh water tank. For the past few months I've been reading as much as I can about both before I start.

wow......whole lotta Bronx here...

Although I was born in NJ, I pretty learned how to walk on the Downtown 6 starting at the 178th street station. I had some real rye bread from Zaro's near the same station last week. Went to City Island for Christmas lunch at the Sea Shore. When I go to Arthur Ave. I eat at Mario's, get some Cannoli at DeLillo's Bakery and get some fresh ravioli to go from Borgotti's. My Aunt is buried at St. Raymonds about 50ft from Billy Holiday. And when I get my pizza at Tony's bar/restaurant in front of West Point on Friday nights----- the owner had a pizza joint on Tremont Ave.

so I hope I have my bronx bases covered.
