Over skimming

Fellow reefers,

I have an Euroreef CS6-2 with a Sedra 3500 pump and it is over skimming. There is a lot of bubbles on the top but it skims too much saltwater. Any ideas what might be the cause?

I have a 20gal long with a 20 gal fuge.

Push the riser tube all the way down, if it is all the way down the maybe the water level is too high for the skimmer. You can prop it up on eggcrate or something.
Your skimmer is skimming too wet. Over skimming is a term that usually means you are stripping your water of it's nutrients giving you a starved looking reef

try modding the pipe.its cheap and works wonders for that euroreef.i love it
