Im wondering who on here has a haddoni carpet that host clowns? any pics would be great. What kind of clowns if so? I picked up a nice teal haddoni carpet (very sticky), but none of my percs or occelaris seem interested in it. My largest female occelaris went to go in it but it looked like it shocked her when her nose touched it..:frown:

i have a huge green carpet with 2 percs.they dont go near it.i did see 2 clarki clowns hosting a green carpet at petswarehouse though.

Clarki and sebae's are anemone ho's.
try tank raised occelaris or true percs, they're generally less stressed out due to many factors, I'm not saying wild percs won't host, but you'll get a better success rate with tank raised ones, LESS CYANIDE POISONING!!!
Thanks for the replies, I have 4 percs and 3 occelaris that get along, but only host my BTA's, I got the carpet so they have more options but they dont seem interested in the carpet at all (so far)...lol... I guess time will tell.. All of my clowns are ORA clowns?

i seen about 10 onyx clowns at tropical island hosting a huge carpet.
I have 2 onyx and a black and white and after a few weeks in the tank it seems that now they are starting to how some interest in the Frogspawn and hammer I have. Also looking for the "right" anemone but I guess theres just no guarantee they will host anything!
