depends on how thick the glass is. TLF has a nano magnet now that is really thin but really small. If you're dealing with a larger tank you are probably just going to have to get creative. Like Mike, said, use a razor blade with holder.

The solution to your problem is the mag flip! Its hard to get it to change sides but it works pretty good! Its super thin and the blade is plastic. One side can scrape the glass and the other side has a cleaning material for light algae. Only downside is that you cannot use it on thick glass. It only can work up to glass thats 3/8". Here are a few pics........ Retails for around $30-$40.

Since you have a solana it should work pretty good

i have the TLF nano magnet...it does go into thin crevices...the magnet is strong but construction could be better...the wet side is basically a piece of velcro wrapped magnet...the dry side is a squishy foam with the company's logo...the logo has long fell off..

Because you need to show it love- I pet mine and shine him up every night and his logo is still hangin tough lol
