Ora Red Planet

I got a small frag of ora red planet last summer it was green and red in color now its all red , my question is does anyone know why did it change color it has nice polyp extension and its growing fast

Most likely its the lighting u have MH?
normally will keep its color under T5 or LED IMO

also how high up or down plays a role in it keeping full color

Mine lost the green as well. I think it is perfectly happy under intense lighting, but it is more likely to retain the green under more moderate conditions.

Its under 2 150w mh and 4 54w atinics in the right in the middle of the tank

i think it looks great and you have nothing to worry about. for the red planet, as the colonies grow its harder to see the green but if u look closely at the base you will see all the green or shut your lights off and look at it with a flashlight and you will see the green.
It looks really good though

I agree with u because i also got the Red Table and now they look almost the same

Yea the only time i see the green is when i shine some LEDs on it
