Wave plunger lives...first video footage

Hi Folks...

You lucky gents and ladies are the very first to see the now functional wave plunger in action, shown here running at low tide on the new intertidal tank.

This is running at about 1/2 capacity in terms of wave generation. So far i have to say, im very pleased with the results (said with a decidedly cat like grin on his face )

I have a question...assuming the plunger is what produces the waves, how do you control the water level when you are changing the levels between high/low tide?

btw - so nice to see you again, always a blast!

All I want to know is can you gives a sound byte of that thing in action does it sound as loud as it looks? and does that tank smell like low tide at the jersey shore when the water level drops?

How noisy is that tank compared to a standard RR tank and sump set-up?
How much noise comes from the wave plunger?

Question, In a full tank of water and alot of rock work, will the plunger put out the same size wave?
