clown question

hi all
i got this clown this past week. and i don't know why but its only swimming on one corner of the tank, and it stays there all day long. any explanation for that?

Same reason why you probably chose where you live right now, Cause it feels comfortable/safe/likes there.

i have no anenome yet i plan on getting one.

dont worry he wll acclimate.just feels safe there.when it feels safe it will move around.remember when nemo was put in the tank for the first time LOL

My clowns had a place where they liked. It was an overhang in the live rock and I think they almost hosted the spot until they found something better. It took a few weeks to host the nem because they kept going back to that seemingly random spot in the tank.

I have two clows and they also stay in one corner of the tank, I guess that's normal I have they for over two months

My brand new false percs do the same thing. The fish stay exclusively in the corner closest to me, swimming up and down right near me. Maybe because they think I'll offer them food? Maybe because they're "tame" since they're tank-raised? I'm sort of hoping they'll give me some space and go find a spot in the rockwork or corals.

your main concern should be if the fish is eating, along with your parameters. one of my clowns did the same thing for a few weeks. new environment for him, possibly scared and just feels comfortable in that one spot.
