i recently got a pair of true percs that are absolutely gorgeous. Theyre a great pair of fish and i dont wanna lose them. They are living in a giant mushroom, and im concerned it might try and eat them... are my concerns warranted or are they safe living in the mushroom?

i'd be more worried about my fishes hurting the mushroom :sgrin: my clowns once tried to host this big ricordea i have and they can be ROUGH, they would bite off the little bulbs of flesh. had to move the rock it was on to the other side of the tank

idk i had originally planned on a blue carpet for them, i might bring the mushroom back and grab a carpet, i would be really upset if anything happened to them. I set up the tank just for them and they are absolutely perfect, i get real upset if things die in my tank as a result of my ignorance or husbandry. lol i prolly take the idea of creatures lives being in my hands too seriously... last time i kept a reef tank i slacked off on it and flat worms took over cus i trusted some guy from a local reef club in albany and took some mushrooms from him w/o dipping, left the hobby for about 5 years after that cus i was so bummed out... kept discus and piranhas (in seperate tanks lol) but the time has come to get back on that sw horse and i wanna make sure i do it right.
