Depends on the fish. Different fish have different bio loads, space requirements, and compatibility issues.

It's a nice size tank, so you can possibly have quite a few in there... depending on your choices.

As mentioned already, you should not add many at once, especially to a tank only 6 months old.

Take your time, and research every fish thoroughly before you buy it.

Come up with some ultimate stocking plans, and run them by us.

Also buy any books written by Scott Michael, or even check out LiveAquaria.com to get info on minimum tank size requirements, compatibilities, nutritional requirements, etc.

The Tang and clowns will grow larger if fed properly, and produce a decent bio-load all by themselves.

If you want to keep corals, you'll want to understock fish to improve your chances of success. More fish = more feeding = more nitrates/phosphates and fluctuating water quality.

Keep skimming, performing regular water changes, and keep an eye on your nitrates and phosphates, and fish behavior/health/stress.

Take things slow, avoid impulse purchases, research animals before buying them, and double-check any LFS advice before acting on it.

These things combined will tell you how many fish you can have successfully, disease and stress free.

phosphates of .4 is a LOT
Is this a Fish Only tank? or do you have corals?
If you're keeping corals, unless you're using a hanna, phosphates should not be detectable at all..

The more fish you add, the more time, work and expense (salt, reactor media, etc.) you will incur.

I would add a few corals, the ones you would like to keep the most.

Add additional fish slowly. When you find you are having problems maintaining low/undetectable nitrates and phosphates, you are done adding fish. If your favorite corals are losing color, you are done adding fish. Etc.

You say 2 more fish in the next 30 days. It sounds like you're ready to take it slow, which is good. But it all depends on those two fish. Two dartfish? Great... low risk. Two triggers? Depending on species, they will eat your other fish and inverts, add significant bioload, and nip and rearrange corals and rock.

What 2 fish, and what additional fish, if any, in the future?

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to add more fish. Now it all depends on what size fish you will be adding to your existing bunch. You currently have 6 fish in a 150 gallon tank, some which depending on your care will grow much larger.:) Others here have already mentioned bio load in their post, so I will only add "the larger the fish, the larger the bio load" it will put on your system. You do seem to have a very good filtration system going on which would allow you to keep more fish. Your phosphate at .4 is high especially if you plan to keep SPS. You may want to cut back on the feedings, once a day is sufficient for the type of fish you currently have.;)
You didn't state what your maintenance schedule is. I would recommend weekly to bi-weekly 20% water change with a good quality salt.
Are you using RO/DI water, or tap? This will make a huge difference in your water quality....................

Yessssss, you should use activated carbon!!!!
