I used to write it down, but I keep everything in my head now.

Once your system/method has stabilized you should be getting the same results every time.

Im sure alot of people would use it and the people that don't would start. People also wouldn't worry about losing pads or anything. Plus it would be an easy way of showing people when you have a problem that you need advice on.

I personally don't log anything. And i have many reasons not to. It would be a job if i started recording things weekly or daily and that's what i don't want my tank to be.

And Duke, its really hard to give a yes and no answer to a question that has so many different answers. Alot of people record additions, both in tank and setup wise, and others record tank fluctuations, ect. Be more specific with your question if you want a yes and no answer. =0) Parameter log? fish log? ect.

What would be some of the things that could be logged?
I have an AC3 which logs my temp, pH, and ORP. From there i can put the raw data into excel and get avg temps, pH. It has graphs for a visual as well.

a tracking webpage could have;
Ca - results, time and day, any action taken
Alk - results, time and day, any action taken
Mg - results, time and day, any action taken
New equipment notes
fish added
fish fed (i feed them when i remember)
new corals added
corals that died
fish the died or MIA
last bulb change
major equipment cleaning
water change

what else?

yes....but quite sporadic now.
the first year or so, kept a fairly detailed logs....parameters, water changes, coral/fish additions, equipments added or deleted, problems and solutions, etc. but once everything stabilized, only keep logs of when to change out bulbs, ro/di filters, ferric oxide, alk and cal dosage plus parameters only if out of the ordinary.
