This might be a dumb question, but I was wondering....can anemones live in groups? And if they do live in groups do they have to be the same kind of anemone of can they be a mix of anemones? I wouldn't expect carpets to group with other anemones but would they group with their own kind? I remember I went to DR this past summer and the red carpet anemone (which was gorgeous) was solitary, there were no other anemones on that reef from what I had seen. Thanks in advance, Fortunato

Anemones

Magnificas and Bubble tips are seen in the wild in huge colonies that cover big reef sections.

Anemones dont sting it attack unless threatened. so its possible for them to touch and be fine.
