And there was a finback whale in the upper hudson a few years back (mostly frsh water at that point).

Not uncommon to see FW fish acclimated to SW and vice versa. Mollies are common and panda gobies as well.

Yeah but that company actually made some kind of "salt mix" where freshwater fish can thrive (I've seen videos where angels where swimming with clownfish). I can imagine what my clownfish would do to my discus if I put them together in one tank:fishhit:

im sure the salinity meets in the middle for the requirements of marine fish and fresh water, prolly like .018 or something or like they said they where slowly aclimated. suck tho cuase unless the water is not .024-25 cant keep the nice corals. lol and plus fresh water fish are not even half as cool as marine

Agreed, not even brackish comes close to marine fish.
