Hello. Recently, I lost almost all specimens in my tank (exlcuding four fish), even the clean up crew due to a large water change that was improperly done. The water I had to use was bottled water due to my faucet adapter on the rodi not working. Anyway, my neighbor cared for the tank while I was on vacation. She did one feeding a day so as not to pollute the tank while I was gone. I returned home, one week later, to find my entire tank covered in hair algae. The glass is covered in it, and the magnets have not completely taken it off. I am going to use an old gift card to scrape it off the glass. What do I do about the rocks and the sand (which is covered in large amounts of dark brown). The sea hares are too much at the lfs. Advice? Thanks in advance.
