Sedra as a return pump?

Does anyone use a sedra as a return pump for their system? I use the sedra 3500 on the skimmer and I have to say this pump is absolutely quiet. The only noise comes from the splashing sound of the water coming out of the riser tube.

I was thinking of replacing the eheim and keeping it as a backup and using the sedra as a return.

There's no pump curve. So, I'd assume like Samsky said, it's probably too weak to overcome much head pressure.
