Can't go wrong with an Icecap especially if you're trying to save on electricity, but I like the way the PFO HQI fires the bulbs (brighter and whiter).

I second that with PFO HQI.
I would say it's in between 250W and 400W.

If you're looking for 250w DE HQI, another one to consider would be the Sunlight Supply Bluewave III (runs one 250w DE HQI or Mogul base bulb) or Bluewave VII (single ballast runs two 250w DE HQI or Mogul base bulb).

EVC Tech E-ballast IIRC is the brightest burning elec. ballast available, and theyre cheaper and just as reliable as Icecap, i have an icecap but if I went elec, id def go w/ EVC tech

im looking to go with the icecaps or coralvue both are electronic and have the same warranty 3 years but i think im going with the icecap just becuase of the name there re around the same in price
