Hey Peter, they are very hardy, eat everything, but sometimes they do jump. Easily gets picked on by other fish.
Dont have a pic of my old carpenter, but here's a pic of similar flasher wrasses.

one of the most active fish in my tank ,But it doesnt like like to have wrasses in the tank ,Unless its a mated pair ,and you need a cover so they wont jump out ,I had 2 and the dominate one is still in my tank ,the weaker one had a fresh air bath and didnt make it ,

Yup ,If you have a wrasse in your tank ,not a good idea
Unless you have a large tank ,I put all my fish in one time when i moved up to the 6th fl ,and now not even thinking about putting in other fish.Very important to have a nice comm of fish that are all getting along .I have 14 fish in my tank ,Smallones as you have seen ,i dont have a prob with any of them ,except my cleaner wrasse and my blenny hate eachother ,and this came all of a sudden :irked:
