Any suggestions on a RO/DI system. I am currently making about 15 gallons per week.., Just tested my current system at 138 ppm Maybe explain the algea growth I am having --LOL

+1 this is the one I have with additional DI. but you don't need it that big unless you are going to upgrade.

did u test ur rodi water with tds meter?

Yes tested the RO at 138- sysytem is about 16 months old

I would try to just replace your membranes thats a long time to go on the same, but if you are looking to just get a newer system then give the guys we mentioned a call

they say membranes are good for 2 years but i guess that depends on how much water you make, i would change out your membrane, how about your di, how old is that

I bought the system used and was told the RO and Di are only 4 months old. I think a new system might be in order i have three tanks going.

Air water and ice have a unit for 149 I just don't know if it is any good? I only make 15G per week.

Ive heard good thing about air water ice units- I like the filterguys because theyre a small business is all go with the one that fits your budget just keep in mind if your ever gonna upgrade to buy a unit that you wont have to replace thatll keep up with the demands later on.

Youve made riughy 1560 gallons so far- they should still be good, unless the guy you got em from had it for longer than stated your membranes should still be good- unless you have super high TDS and impurities in your water. May want to change companies just so you are the one to use it from the beginning and know the true status of it since day 1 or at least new membranes so you use them from day 1 as well.


Its only 50 bucks less than the filterguys is and the 199 for mine or the price for whatever unit you get is shipped to your door. Up to you... Good luck with the decision and outcome

Rich, why not just replace your membrane, sediment pre-filter, carbon pre-filter and DI resin? All they are doing is sitting in a canister in a new system or your current system. You should get a reading of zero either way. One just costs more than the other
