Here is my most recent batch of clowns.

Not too many misbars this time, but I was able to get the yield of this batch up to 100+ juveniles.

If you want to see them in person, there are 3 of them in the small Elos tank at Manhattan Aquariums. The large Elos tank has 2 from the batch I distributed at the last frag swap.

Every time I see your batches it makes me want to try it myself.

My problem is my clowns lay eggs on a large immovable rock so getting the eggs out would be a problem.

How did you get your clownfish eggs out?

What I do is shut the lights off and powerhead filters everything on the 7 th day they usually hatch 15 to 30 minutes after the lights go totally out , then I get a flashlight and shine it in the corner of ur tank they. Will all go to the light after they all ball close together suck them up with a turkey baster and then into aa cup till u have a load to dump in the fry tank , make sure u handle them very gentle they die very easly ,

charlie maybe they don't last because you are sucking them up w/ a turkey baster lol..that will stress the hell out of them. I would think a small net would be better/ Of course I'm sure the most reliable way to do this would be to have the pair of clowns in a separate tank so they lay eggs there and then there's nothing to move.
