Anyone have good experience with majano elimination with fish predators?
I was thinking about the tassled filefish but will it go after SPS and clams? Racoon butt is out of the question cause I also have acans and lobos in there.

TIA

pepperment shrimp ont eat mojano's, they will eat aptasia, warren it's a 5-50 chance, albano has one but is suspect oto have eaten zoa's which they are known to do, maybe you can get a loaner to do the job then take it out, pretty easy to catch as they are slow

Hi Warren

I have used the Leather Jacket filefish with tremendous results. They have been known to also pick at zoanthids.

Warren I'd def. try the bristle tailed file that LI Andy suggested. I've had several in my reef for many months and they certainly will take out aiptasia and I would bet Majanos too. They do pick around at things, but in a large enough system I don't find they do much if any damage. They are also pretty easy to catch if you do need to remove one. I'd term them a very acceptable risk. FYI Dom gets them regularly.
