reef lobsters ??

are reef lobsters really reef safe ??? i got one those bad boys in my tank for like 1.5 year now he ate my 6 peppermint shrimp and some of crabs but think he been munching on my fish or he just started i am missing the 2 smallest fish from my tank with that been said i am going to thin my tank down even tho i know i still wont be that easy to get him when i thin the tank down would a good time to try catch him or should i just leave him in and any idea on what the best way to catch him ??some input please

considering the lobster ate your shrimp, crabs and a few fish, I'd say it's fair to claim the lobster is not reef safe.

yeah that a good point levito.. but i was thinking when they say reef safe they were refering to corals which he has not bother anything he dont even knock stuff over

anyone have a idea how to get this guy out or have a lobster trap ???

they are aggressive scavengers and will eat ANYTHING when it's hungry

yeah but feed often got a few fish and it only lately he been muching i dont know why ?

They're reef safe but not fish or invert safe. Mine ate a few fish, 2 cleaner shrimp and a blue linckia. If you can get him out of his hiding spot into an open area they don't move fast until you get really close but by then he'll be caught. That's how I got mine and threw him in the sump
