I have a 150 gallon reef tank...for over a year and a half all i had for filtration was a 10 gallon tank with some live rocks and a coralife skimmer rated for a 60 gallon tank all corals were thriving and never had a problem...after hearing everyone tell me i was insane for doing so i decided up upgrade to a 50 gallon sump/fuge with an ETSS600 skimmer about a month ago... well i guess in doing so i cause i mini cycle and lost a lot of corals..i did multiple water changes but for some reason my corals are still dying ..all my parameters seem to be in check...but i dunno if i'm missing something
so if someone is not too busy on friday or saturday and has a test kit that can stop by for a couple minutes to see if they can find out whats the problem i would greatly appreciate it.. im located on Ocean and Foster ave in Brooklyn..i have included a before and after shot of my tank..3/4 of my corals have died

I see no coralline algae in there and I'd expect to see it after 1 1/2 years - do you know what your Ca, Alk & Mg levels are in the tank?

Also, what types of food fo you feed?

did you buy the sump new or used if its used check for copper leaching. there is no way the problem was by upgrading 40 gallons more. i occasionally add and remove 200 gallons on my system with no effect
