just got the new skimmer installed 3 days ago & am very happy with it. just wanted to post some pic's to let you guys have a look.
Also wanted to thanks M.A (lfs) for all my ORA corals, at an avg. $50 for a mini colony which is about 3-4 inches ea. and thanks to my fellow M.R. for those great deals u gave me. too many names to mention.
Hey mshur that frag pack i got is all doing great thanks for ur wisdom, that red table has grown half its size more since i got it. My 3-4 inch red planet from mastershake is just as beautiful esp. at a superb $
but what upsets me is that there are a few members here who i envy but never met because i understand the blood & gust & "$" it takes to be in this hobby who are not vendors charge internet prices for thier corals.
Its thier perogative but we are all here as a common group who loves this hobby to help ea. other trade, buy, sell, give advice etc. lets be fair and reasonable. thanks for looking.

more pic

sorry about the late response on these pic i thought they were done loading up lol. the skimmer was too high but i knew that. so i cut a section so that i can slide the sump into place. the sump was resting perfectly on the base of the stand but that meant it took away 4" in height.

very nice, want to see how it is doing in 3 months, tats when you really can tell once the body is coatd with slime, how do you like te build quality compared to the vertex ? and do you think it will be much of a upgrade from the in180

btw i would put some type of bracing on the bottom of the stand you can take on and off

as much exp. and collections u have with skimmers reefnoob i'll be happy to keep u updated with this. the vertex was good but felt i needed to save space and design and have the pump built into the skimmer which is the new bubble blaster. also with a high bio load and about an avg. 200gal altogether i had to upgrade. as for build its good, easy to
disassemble, collection cup, pump wire port and the base seals in tight.
one big plus that the vertex dont have is the ease of the control vale
