Grab Bag Results!!!!!

Also, please let us know what you thought about the idea and tell us if there is any way to improve the event!

Some of the "small" pieces were actually quite rare, so please let us know what you got once everything starts to open up.

Josh-- you gave me a lovely rock with mushrooms on it, and there was a gorgeous pinkish orange one hiding on the other side! and my grab bag produced some very cool blue green purplish zooanthids the specific name of which I dont know,, but they match in shape some I have in my tank already which have bright orange fringe.I'll post a photo when I figure out how to to that.

thanks to all-- it was a great event which I should have stayed at longer-- but I got a parking ticket anyway. oops.

ahh... You should have posted a sign that say must get to Frag swap on the window so cop could understand . It always hard finding a spot in manhanttan. I search and hunted like 30 mintues before I can find a spot. And the rear of my car was sort of out of sidewalk It was a risk I'm willing to take.. hehehe

I got two grab bag and Have no idea what they are. I will try to put up some pictures too.

here are my zoos from the grab bag sorry they are a bit blurry, maco mode does that sometimes on my camera. will try to get some better shots of them later

red skirt, blue/white middle, yellow mouth

green skirt, blue center, yellow mouth

purple skirt and middle, some have some white and purple middle, and yellow mouth

IMO, The Grab Bag was a great idea.

Josh:

The frag swap meet was an excellent ide. I'm sure me and y everyone else you participate in saturday's frag swap will want another one real soon. I am happy about the yellow color zoos I received from
the grab bag.

For the next time I wonder if all the particpants can put the names down on the bag so I can call out the person if I am interested in the coral.

First post the picture to the Photo Gallery here on Manhattan Reef or on another photo hosting site. Then click on the Image button down below, a box will pop up, copy the link where the photo is locate and paste it into the box. You can copy the link where the picture is located by going to the picture and right clicking the mouse button and selecting "Copy Image Location".

Do a preview first before you post it and you should see the picture. If you see the picture then just post it.

It's hard to tell from the picture. Is it purple? Could be a purple monti? Once it starts to grow it will be much easier to ID.
