Skimmer Making Alot Of Bubbles

So I dose my tank with red slime remover and now my skimmer is overflowing with suds like bubbles. I did a 25% water change. Is there anything else I should do? or do I just do another 25% water change?

most red slime removers say to turn your skimmer off. dont be too worried. why are you doing water changes? to help settle the skimmer? or for the red slime remover?

to help settle the skimmer. I turned my skimmer off for 1 day. Was I suppose to leave off loner than that?

did you use red slime remover? chemi-clean? i know chemi-clean tells you 2-4 days. if you want to be safe leave it off for a bit. its not going to hurt that much. when i was using prizo-pro i had it off for 3 weeks...

just turn the skimmer down a little and be very careful with the red slime remover you must be very accurate with the measurment.

The red slime remover will make your skimmer go nuts, just turn it down for a while.

They recommend running the skimmer while treating the tank to remove the excess nutrients.

That's what I thought, but my skimmer was going crazy. I just turn it off. I'll turn it back on wed. Hopefully there won't be an overflow of bubbles.
