Is it 1-2% more efficient or are we talking 50% more efficiency over the sro...?
Just saying if it's only a minimal difference then I'd rather save the $, but if you are saying get the cone it'll make you say omg omg compared to the sro there is no contest then I'm down for that.
I just got the Octo reef cone with bubble blaster pump still breakin in only about a week in and it's pullin alot of unwanted waste out already has a small foot print deff a great space saver
What size tank are you planning to run it on?
I'm planning on buying one of these also for my 180.
I still haven't decided wich one yet becuase of the same question but I'm leaning toward the XP version. I was told it is a bit more stable and there is less turbulance in the chamber as the SRO model, do to the 10" base it has.
Here is a video of the sro 3000int running just in case you hven't seen it.
