i had one like this in the past. For a few months it didn't grow at all then all of a sudden it started growing 3x its size then it stopped again and then i died around the time my tank crashed. It doesn't really require a lot of lighting but it needs a well established tank with lots of nutrients for you to see it grow. good luck with it.

I always called that carnation coral be glad it hasnt taken off. those things spread like wild fire any little piece that drops off starts a new colony. Those seed looking things drop off and spread everywhere.

carnation/toro tree coral low flow same light like kenya tree and ur fine two years is while it shoud grow a little since u got it so i dont know about that.. try moving it to different spot but they grow fast and drop babies like kenya trees

looks to me like my colt coral, your is just a tad bit more purple. very easy peice of coral to keep. i dont understand why your having trouble growing it, mine would double every month or two. i use to cut it up and give it away because it grew so much...
