Stupid question

I was counting I have 13 fish in my tank all parameters are good or excellent,
1-blue hippo
1-yellow tang
1-purple tang
1-mellenarus wrasse
1-6line wrasse
1 clown fish
1-matted file fish
3-fire fish (dart fish)
3-chromis

All for a long time they never fight and all swim together in a 75 reef tank u think I could get more fish probably right! small ones, I have great current two tunze 6101 wave controller n I change the sequence daily. So the fish r all over. But i need sand guys what u suggest

thats way too many fish for a 75, especially let alone 3 tangs. current doesnt limit the amount of fish you can have, the size of the tank, the skimmer and the amount of water changes you do affects the amount of fish you can have.

eventually if you continue to add fish and they grow the bio load will be to much for your tank, i would say if you want more fish add small one your tank is prety well socked now

That's too much fish in a tank that size and you're going to be fighting a loosing battle.

If I were you I'd get some nassarius snail, they're good sand sifters IMO.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion. I use to have 17 fish in my 72 bow, and was like that for 4 years and never had an issue. Yet the largest fish was only 3 inches, still.

Wow. This guy has a 180 display with a 90 sump and 40 refugium and he's telling you that you have more fish then he does.
Also are you sure that your phosphate and nitrate levels are up to par ?
Being phosphate under 0.03 and nitrates under 20ppm.

your wrong on the 90 sump pauli it's more like 345 & it's not just how much water you got but how much room the fish will have to swim around without being cramped do you want happy fish or stressed out fish

+1 Way too overstocked, he has more fish then my 220!

number of fish in a saltwater tank isn't really a great way to determine bioload. For instance, 30 trimma gobies in a 180 wouldn't be considered overstocked by anyone but there are still 30 fish in the tank. It comes down to what species are being stocked in the tank. 13 large fish or fish that will get large is definitely overstocked in a 75, though and you might want to consider thinning the herd rather than adding to it.

I was at 15 fish on my 72g and then I realized the load was too much and now I have only 8.

Everyone has an opinion, given best water parameters the math usually is 1.5" to 2" fish per gallon.
Measure them and do the math.
