Hermit crab gets owned :D

haha interesting story guys...I have a 55 gallon tank with ALOT of live rock and a powerhead right by one of the rocks...So one day im just watching the tank and I see the crab slowly coming up the rock nearest the powerhead. So then all of a sudden I dont know if it was an unexpected flow out or something, but the crab was cleaning the rock and then it just gets blown out of its shell ....The shell stay on the rock and the crab flew across the tank...It was killed instantly.

Can't stand hermits, they did in more than their fair share of snails. Never again.

Heh, reminds of of my snails. Every so often, of of my ambitious smaller snails decide to clean my MP40. The often end up getting sucked into it and shot across the tank. The first time it happened it make a loud smack, it startled me.

LOL, I had that happen too and couldn't figure out what happened right away.

yea....but for some reason, I think hermit crabs do a much better job than snails...for some reason, snails do not want to work in my tank

The snails seem to be more active than my hermits.
