What router is it? You want to open the ports that the .net module uses for outbound and inbound communication on the router. Is your ip at home static or dynamic?

You're going to need a service like dyndns.org where you create a hostname that points to your dynamic address. Your router should have a wizard to set up dynamic dns. Check out http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app.../setting-up-dynamic-dns-(ddns)-on-your-router. When you connected the .NET module to the router it was assigned a dynamic IP address. You can either reserve that IP address for the .NET module in the router configuration, or make the address static in the .NET module configuration. You then map a port on the router to port 80 (usually) of the internal ip address of your .NET module. That's why the .NET module has to have a static address. If not, then at some point when the router assigns a new address to the .NET module ddns will be mapping to the old address and you won't have access to it from the outside.

If you set up dynamic IP service, you should be able to reach your home system by name and not IP. Now, in the belkin router, you need to configure "Port Forwarding". You will put in the internal IP address of the NET and forward port 80 to it. I don't know the belkin console but that is what you want to do. Post a screen shot if you have any problems.

Alfie,
now I can check in on my system to see how it is doing, from any computer, or blackberry for a current review of my system, which currently includes 2 different temp graphs, 2 different ph graphs, orp, and ph. Soon to also be monitoring room temp and rh.
