As you are aware, we are upgrading the Reefberry system.
This system will go online shortly, and while we are waiting for it to launch, there is some things you need to do to prepare:
Right now, your BUDDY LIST on the homepage (where most people send RBs from) lists your CONTACTS.
Going forward, we will be switching the buddy list to use your FRIENDS.
Take a look at this page:

In it you will see all Contacts and Friends. A friend is a contact that has been verified and has the "Friend" box checked to the upper right of the user's avatar.
If you want the transition to Coral-Line to be seamless, you need to upgrade all of the contacts in your list who you wish to chat with to "Friends". Do that by simply checking the box and click "Save Changes".
Once the other party approves you as a Friend you will be able to see them in your newly upgraded Buddy List.

- Archive your important RB messages. RB will remain online for one week following the launch of Coral-Line, start archiving NOW. There is an export function in RB that allows you to save ALL messages to your hard drive in a text file if you need to search for something in the future.
- To prevent spamming and harassment, Coral-Line will be using your FRIENDS INSTEAD OF CONTACTS. The difference between the two is that FRIENDS must be approved by both parties (like on Facebook), whereas CONTACTS DO NOT NEED TO BE APPROVED.
