Does anyone know if aftermarket bulbs are available for this unit?
It seems nanotuners has UVL bulbs. But you need to adjust everything to make them fit. I'm not a DIY guy.
If not does anyone have exp. with the new tru lumen bulbs from Current?

I switched my nep20 to trulumen bulbs. The white is very similar to the old white in terms of color and intensity. The actinics are a much richer deeper blue. Overall with 3&3 the color is a lot nicer. I thought the look with just 2 blues was a bit weird so I changed switch 1 to control a white and a blue.

You can mod the fixture to use the 18" uvl bulbs. With the mod you need to use all uvl bulbs. There's a how-to thread on nano-reefs.

I was thinking I might go with 2- 12K, 3- actinic blue & 1- actinic purple.
With the old bulbs I get very white light when 10k,s are on.
Just wondering if this configuration will be too blue, or too low a par level for sps.

Most people switch beause of the limited bulb choices. Or the are simply upgrading and 24" light makes more sense.
This light is only designed for a handful of tanks.
Most tanks are 24"long, or more.
But it is a great light, very powerful for what it is.
I do wish it had the moonlight setup of the sunpod.
