I am sure this has come up before and I have done a little reading, but this is new to me and I need some advice on how to proceed.

I noticed tonight, under the carpet anenome was a colony of percula clown eggs. I did some research on the web and found a great site that showed daily pictures of the development of the eggs. They appear to be about day four or five with prominent eyes. I would appreciate any help from those that have experience in raising these fry.

I understand that I may not be able to save his batch, but perhaps a future batch now that I know the pair is producing fertilized eggs.

Where do I start???

Start by recording the date that the eggs disappear. Then watch the tank every day until they lay the eggs in the same place again. Record that date. Wait until the eggs disappear again and record that date. Calculate the incubation time exactly (number of days). You need to know the exact night that the eggs will hatch in future batches. Once you know how long it takes them to hatch you can work on planning to harvest the fry.

After they lay the next batch, you should glue a smooth tile to the rock right where they laid the eggs. Let them lay eggs on it at least once to get them used to it.

PM me when you have done the above and you'll be closer to being prepared to raise them. It should take you about 5 weeks to work through the steps I outlined above. These are very important as you need to know exactly when each step is going to happen and you really have to have them laying the eggs on a tile if you want a good shot at raising a large number of them.

There are many eggs and they are tiny, not the best lighting but look in the "valley" created by the carpet..
