The easiest way to tell is looking at the side of each pane of glass. Not as if you were looking into the tank but the actual edge of each pane. If it is starfire you should be able to see right through to the other side, Sometimes it will even have black lines in it. If you can't see to the other side and it's that greenish hue then you know it's not starfire.

Also, if it is the oceanic tech 120, it will most likely have a center overflow and integrated cable management in the form of 2 holes in back corners of the top black plastic top. Also I think there are two small circular spacers in the bottom corners of the front panes of glass. If you look at where the black silicone is, towards the bottom you will see clear circles about 1/4" facing forward.

Not all Oceanic tanks are starphire glass. There are two ways to pretty easily tell if it is or not. 1) Like one of the members said, the panel of regular glass has a greenish tint from the side. 2) Just stand back and look at it, you can barely tell there's a panel of glass on the front of the aquarium if it's starphire.

Straight from glasscages. reg glass is the left green one, starfire is the right.

As other members have said, the easiest way is by looking edge-long down a pane of glass.

If the glass is green, caused by iron in the glass, so you can't see through it, then it is regular glass.
If the glass is clear so you can see on through to the other side, then it is Starphire.

There is a dramatic difference between the two.

I had a 2 x 2 x 2 cube, with front and side panels made of Starphire glass. Since each panel was the same length, you could see the difference clearly going from one side to the others. On my tank, the Starphire glass was slightly gray or aqua looking edge-long, but still translucent.
