I haven't been to fishtown yet but as I understand it they import their fish directly skipping over the middleman. So you seeing the dead fish that you don't see at the wholesalers. Fish die at the wholesalers but they don't ship them.

BTW, they get those low prices by importing directly.

thats prolly what they intend to do with the tanks they are installing downstairs. they will be their own middleman downstairs, it seems.
the owner must realize by now somethings going DEAD wrong these days. i mean all those dead fish for sale, you gotta pick of some of the customer chatter. in the mean time the fish that would die at the wholesalers die in the customers tanks the next day.
