Acrylic Rods?

Anyone have any acrylic rods? Or know where someone can get some in nyc? (Not ideal, I know) but would thin wood dowels work (sw tank)?

If this is for aquascaping the wood would deteriorate over time possiable doing harm, try plastic hangars if you cant find they are cheap an does the same job

you can buy the clear ones or white, that go on mini blinds at homedepot, the lil hexigon ones. can even bend em with a torch.

definitly use acrylic rods 1/4 inch i think i used on my tank and it works amazing.my rocks are so stable

Canal Plastics. They will cut them for you as well.

How do these rods get used? Drill holes in the rock and then put rod in and glue?

yes and no. You dont even need to use glue
