Alvapora not opening

I jsut bought a nice size piece of Alvapora at the lfs and t's not opening ? I put it in last night and as of now it still hasn't opened yet. My waters fine so idk what could be wrong I have it under the same lighting as it was at the store. I don't get it. Oh and there's like the little green heads at each pore and it looks like it wants t open. "whats the deal with that " sorry had to put a sienfeld reference lol

Give it time to adjust to your tank, low flow. It should come around.

Alveopora is a very picky LPS coral. In the colonies I've had, it took several :headache: days to acclimate itself to my water parameters, flow and lighting.

BTW, what lighting is it under and how much flow is it receiving?

it's under a coral life pc set up with 2 10k 96 watt and 2 96 watt 03 atinics. The flow I would say is moderate i guess. I have a iwaki 70 return turned little more than half way on (its in the basement, tanks on 1st floor) then i have like 2 power heads in there and there's a hang on beacause I ahd stuff floating around before.
