funny I've been fighting cyano for a few months now and no matter I do I couldn't figure it out, except I switched to oceanic about the smae time.

I wonder if thats whats been causeing the headache this entire time.

After you switch I would be interested to know if it goes away.

good luck,
Frank

I read some threads on Reefs.org and everyone seems to like it. The only thing that seems to be the constant complaint is the price. It's usually one of the more expensive brands.

I bought a 200gal bucket at Fishtown today for $60 I was looking for instant ocean, but figured, wth, I'll try it. I'm making an bucket of RO water now. I'll mix up to 1.024 and then do tests on it. we'll see how the ca, alk, and mag all turn out on a fresh batch.

I have been using the TM forever and have never had any problems with it. I just swith over to TM pro reef formula, because it suppose to have more cal & mag, but I really haven't seen any different between the 2 products except that pro reef formula mixes very fast and clear and it cost more.

I had it shipped from one of the on-line place which I forget which one. I think it was $58-$61 shipped. The price ranges are all very close as it's very hard to get a break on shipping nowadays. FishTown was a little more and since I would have to get a car also it was better to have it delivered to my door.

When I purchased it that was what the price was. Some one posted it on RC and I purchased it from them right away. The price differences between places wasn't that great anyway, a couple of $ here or there.

Anyway the pay came cracked, lucky I didn't lose any salt. I let them know and they didn't seem to care. First time I order from them and probably the last.
