I would like to say that I personally think this article is a national treasure and should be framed on a wall in a vault somewhere. If you only have the time or patience to read one article in this installment of Reefs Magazine, Rich's Skeptical Reefkeeping is more than worth the time.
Those of us in the business who deal with multiple livestock suppliers from various regions can attest to the fact that common names from just a few states over can be very different and sometimes, make no sense. Don't even start with the common names from overseas (some can be blackout inducing when trying to ID that stressed out little fish at the bottom of a black lined bag). I would agree that even a butchered scientific name is far more helpful than most common names. Don't get me started on the LE names.
I can't wait for the next article, great stuff!
