ok to put cheato and marcoalge tog ?

I have a cheato in rear chamber with JBJ glow LED (white BRIGHT!) and i just put marcoagle in there with cheato- is that okay to put it in tog or must separate ?

some just like to keep chaeto by itself so it grows into a big tumbling pillow like it occurs in nature, but myself I keep it with 3-4 different types of macros..which just tend to intertwine and grow together....
