Tank finally rounding the conner dinos fading away almost gone I'm guessing it's from the new rodi and very aggressive use of gfo using a tlf reactor more then half filled on a 75 changing every 2 weeks
I really hope I've finally beat it
Gotta say out of all the things vie battled since I started reefing this has been by far the worst

IMO ZZ should be recommended to others on a per-case basis. Although it works well, it's not for everyone and every environment.

Matt, from what I saw of your tank (at the time), you didn't seem to have a PO4 problem. ZZ is good to sweep up and carry away the goo that's lingering & feeding your prior Dino mat. It worked well for you, and I'm glad!

For others, especially with a perpetual and noticeable PO4 issues, this stuff will not cap the supply of these bad nutrients.

I hear u Ed I am just soooo frekin happy that my tank looks good again! Certainly not a miracle product that can reverse bad husbandry practices but in my case it's just what I needed!! The past 6 months with dinos was really disheartening and I believe that at some point with the carbon dosing and h2o2 dosing thAt the tanks natural balance got all outta wack
