it wont take any time to cure, you only have to cure if it has dead stuff on it like if you use dry live rock in a tank. you dont see any of the vendors curing there ceramic discs or aragonite discs for the swaps or anything like that

If he going to use cement mix it can take a year to cure do to lime and other chemicals that affect ph in the cement . ceramic doesnt need to cure at all . dont now were you got that from .
