jeremy these units are awesome. With the price reduction and the intro of the new unit, they are just even better. I've seen saltwaterinbrooklyn's setup and he has some great growth.

I have one in my 55 gallon cube. The tank is 24x24x24. I have the light set at 55 day light and 45 royal blue and 45 percent blue. I have lost most if my sps. When I put the lights up higher then my Lps start to die. My acans have not come out since I got this light back in June. All other corals are doing amazing. But I just started growing a lot if green hair on rocks. Starting to Piss me off. But I do love the light.

Jaynie back down that day light and your algae will go away i had the same issue and i dropped to 40 and my tank is 28 inches deep with the light being suspended 14 inches above water line.

Oh and keep the acans low for a bit cause they dont take too well to a.i. Lighting for some reason, you gotta sort of acclimate them to leds .( this is from personal experiance , results may vary) .

Ok great thanks. I will back off the light tonight to 40 day. What about the blues? My light is about 8 inches from the water. It's in a canopy.

Not me... Still troubling with Sps w AI sol blue...

Lps is doing great.

Some bleached and some turned brown..

I started 25% and now at 40% that's Bout a month increase %. 10" above from waterline.

Also hard to ajdust color too..

Be very careful
