I find that with the Majano wand that if you don't scoop out the fried aptasia that they will stick somewhere else and start growing again. In a smaller tank it probably works well but on a 300 gallon in wall set up its hard enough to reach them alone scoop out the floating stuff.

That's why you use a siphon instead of scoping them out of a 300G tank.

yea I guess. But you really have to get in there and zap them good and for a while some times. Originally I was doing that and the next day they were back. So now I zap them and hold it in that spot for a couple of minutes meanwhile the stuff is floating away every where. So i guess if you have three arm it could work they way you r saying.

A majano is almost all water so that stuff you are seeing floating up from it is mostly
coming from the water itself. The Wand turns the water in the cells of the animal into hydrogen gas which causes it to float. My wife uses mine almost every day,(she loves to kill majanos and everytime she finds one she has to kill it, makes me worry.) and she has been doing it for a year with no problems.
