i do add it all right away, but i have done this before and its cleared up the past 2 times. i think where i might of caused the calcium to precipitate was i originally had 15 gallons of saltwater made at 1026 i siphoned out 5 gallons because i had to do something with the water and then turned the heater on maybe the combination of both those caused it? who knows but i checked the salinity multiple times and its still 1026 so i know the salt isn't to high in their.

Ok I would use it and see what happens plus I got to go trolling now lmfao maybe a cool sesame street show came on and Matthew is watching it lol

LMFAO 9 out of 10 threads gets brutal on this forum.
To the OP i had the same issue. I switched to reef crystals and the water was cloudy never cleared up and had a nasty residue in the container. I used the water it was safe, then cleaned the container and put the reef crystal salt in the corner of the garage. Not saying it was the reef crytal salt, but i wont be using it.

yea it hasn't happened to me before so i think i will just use it and clean the bucket and add the salt more slowly next time. i know the film it leaves on my surface is from all the trace elements that probably aren't dissolving fully i think i need a bigger mixing pump but not right now lol.
