I dropped a good amount of the Coral Smoothie into the tank last night after I got home to reward all of the corals for being so well behaved on a traumatic day.

I did not notice any immediate reaction however I did have to cut off a bit of the tip of the bottle to allow the larger particles to come out.

I just tried the smoothie after reading your post.
You are right, the tip seems need to be cut a little lower to allow the larger particles to come out.

I read the instruction that talks about submerging the bottle in the tank. That sounds like it's designed for spot feeding too. I will ask them whether my assumption is correct.

The vendor guy told me it could be used as either broadcast or target feeding. I plan on trying it tonight
I think you are talking about the actual farm guy from Algagen, not me, because I am their vendor guy. I, myself, do not really know all products yet. I only have one to two months experience before the swap :shhh:.

The tip on the coral smoothie does not allow the bigger particles of the food to come out so I just poured it in my little feeding cup. At first I squirted a little bit of the food in the water column. Mooch, my cleaner shrimp nearly jumped out of the tank to get at it! I have never seen that idiot so excited!

Then I target fed all the corals and even Bunny the clam almost hopped up and down to try to eat this food. It's coral crack!
