What Macro for Tangs

Since I am going to get ready to put fish back into my tank. I want to have plenty of food for tangs that I "may" get. What kind of macro do they eat?

I have chaeto, do they eat that???

But I would like some other stuff that I can put into the DT as a treat for them.

Any recommendations???

What kind of tang do you plan to keep in your 75G Anthony? im not 100% correct but I think all tangs eat seaweed.

my PBT eats red gracillaria, but it doesn't touch any type of caulerpa or cheato

MOTE marine Institute feeds their tangs broccoli interestingly enough.

I have fed tangs in the past romaine. But want something a litte nice in the tank. The red stuff that you said in last post (don't know how to spell it and can't see past post right now) looks good. Now just to get my hands ons some to let it grow out!!!

my tangs used to love grape caulerpa... but not sure how you would feel about putting that into your DT.

either the red gracillaria or dragon breath macro both are nutritional and look good in a tank, but most tangs will eat it faster than it can grow so keep it growing in a fuge to feed the DT.

Def don't want that in DT

Exactly why I want to get not before I go on vacation. Fish in three weeks need to find it local

+1 on Gracillaria, red or green. Caulerpa is terrible for tanks, corals, and fish. They contain toxins, why would you want to feed that to your fish? I also don't feed lettuce to fish because there are plenty of options between nori and different types of macro algaes that come from the ocean and are readily available.
