I've got a few popping up here and there. Probably hitched on some frags I bought. It's not out of control, but I want to get rid of it before it becomes a real issue. Anyone have any opinions on the best way to deal with it? I have a 120 gallon mixed reef tank. My parameters are good. No phosphates, and nitrates are very low at 0.5. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hey Jesse, mithrax crabs are the generally accepted, natural way to combat bubble algae. They are hit or miss like anything else in the hobby, but definitely worth doing your due diligence.

Use a 3/4 in diameter hose for water changes and use the hose to gently scrap the bubble algae off. sometimes they will break but you catch most the spores with the syphon.i cut my hose to make sort of a flat shovel and that works really well

I know this probaby isn't the best way but I alway popped them all :D. Seriously
I've read that if you pop them they will spread all over...... I didn't experience this.
