eventually you are not going to see it but while you can go with black ;)

The back of my tank is always clear.. Just requires some extra scraping. Coralline grows on the rocks and starboard bottom (not a fan of that but I'm letting it go for now) but I scrape it off the walls. It's my opinion, but the tank looks much cleaner that way.

Black does make corals pop, but you also need to think about fish. For example, I wouldn't buy any black and white clownfish or a black tang or similar because they blend in. Blue does make the tank look brighter, but most of the equipment and power cords are black so they won't blend in with a blue background.

I like both.

Blue bro. Makes the inside of the tank seem brighter. Had both and the black just seems to darken the tank up.

Thanks bro...your absolutely right it's so much brighter!!and for anyone that is in my shoes and couldn't decide I highly recommend using the adhesive vinyl --it goes on so nice and you always have the option of changing colors later rather than painting the back.
