few questions:

why is the glass cloudy?
Looks to me like calcium or algae was not scraped off, and it has cloudy spots. I was told they could be buffed out with a glass polish but didn't want to take that on myself

who built it?
I bought the tank from ponyreefer, I do not recall the builder.

how old?
I had the tank about 3 years

thickness of glass?
The tank is 3/4

The overflow has 3 holes drilled, the back wall of the tank has 4 holes, two on each side. I only used two and capped the others.

Just a 'heads up'...
IME ... If the 'cloudiness' is on starphire glass caused by coraline algae...the glass is probably 'etched' and nothing will fix it...I have tried sanding, various compounds, glass repair kits, steel wool, multiple acids... Nothing worked!
I ended up selling a 300DD for use as a sump
