I've been attempting a low tech 20L lately. So far I've had algae problem, snail problems, plants dying. But I've been messing with amount of light per day and ferts and it's coming back.
Did manage to keep water parameters stable and had this fish breeding now.
Yep, I was bored and made a tank for my fancy guppies and frog. So I ordered a Buildmyled fixture and started a co2 injection for my Fluval spec V 5 gallon tank. The lighting just wasn't good enough from the Fluval fixture, so the ground plants died and my nana's aren't doing so well but hanging on. No algae problems to speak of. Going to order the new plants as the equipment comes in.
Oh yeah, i would love some. The Fluval V is great.no noise at all.If I could have I would have gotten the Mr. Aqua bookshelf. Just for the length for aquascaping. But it would have fit on my desk. How are you treating your water? RO or Tap water with neutralizer? What are you feeding the babies? What food for the adults?
New Life Spectrum Fry starter normally, but ran out recently just giving them some Fluval flakes until the new life spectrum comes in, also ordered some brine eggs and giving them a whirl.
Also have Platy frys but feel like that's too big for a 5G
and white cloud minnows that looks like they're about to pop.
I haven't notice any deaths
But I think I have a CO2 deficiency, java ferns are dying.
Let me know whenever you want the fish. I started with only 15 now I'm sure it has doubled maybe triple. My 20L isn't gonna hold them that long and I have to move July 31.
